I was looking on Ebay for gear linkage cables. I found a seller there, UK based with 100 % feedback and all seemed very good. I went to "contact seller" on Ebay as I wanted to ask about buying 2 cables.
When looking at"Details about the item" this message said:

So I emailed them - and they offered me a great price for 2 cables. They then sent this to my email address;

They basically wanted me to transfer 100£ through Western Union to Romania. All of this looked really suspicious so I checked the seller's site again and thoroughly. Found that the email contact listed with the item does not match the email given by the fraudster. I contacted the company who listed the item in the UK - they had no idea that this was on their Ebay site! This person has hacked into their Ebay account - and if a customer wants to talk to the seller - they end up talking with this fraudster - on all of the items this company is selling! I alerted Ebay to this and the official company. I nearly lost £100!
