Consumer Report

In dec. Of i bought some books at books a million, they offered me a risk free offer on some magazines. I was to get 1 free magazine and if i wanted to keep it all i had to do was nothing, and they would subtract the amount from my checking account. Same month my daughter bought some books at books a million, got the same offer. If we didnt want the magazines or changed our minds, all we had to do was call this number, 1-800-353-7034 and cancel them. My daughter was in the process of moving, and she used my address, so there were 6 magazines put under this address. I canceled mine, she forgot about hers. They charged her checking account (debit card) for her magazines. Full price causing problems. This all happened in dec. 2011. The other day i was checking my checking account, and i see this charge for a magazine that i didn't order. So i called the number, got an automated system, this magazine was not on the list of magazines to cancel. They were my daughters, but it was charged to my account. Taste of cooking was the magazine. So i tried to change the account, no where to do that, or talk to anyone. They dont allow that. I found the company on here and sent them an email, now waiting. I canceled all the magazines on the list that came up, and when i called back to this number, it is not showing i canceled them. Do i get in touch with the magazines themselves to get this stopped, or do i send a complaint to the fbi, or federal trade commission? Total is 60.00
