I leased a credit card terminal with my credit card company (rbs lynk), also known as World Pay.in 1996. I never knew Golden Eagle Leasing was debiting 112.00 thru ach debits out of my business checking account, each month for the past 16 years. I thought that the charge on my bank statements was a charge that my payroll company was deducting. When I know longer could afford my payroll service i cancelled them. I noticed that the charge was still being deducted. I then called my bank to address my concerns. They told me it was Golden Eagle leasing. I called them several times to no avail. Finally i left a message and they called me back. They told me, it was for a credit card terminal i leased in 1996. Imagine my SURPRISE! I told them i no longer had the machine and sent it back to the credit card company in February. They are still charging me every month, so i had to close my business account that we have had for the past 31 years to get this madness to stop. Now, they are going to go after me for this!!! I never knew Golden Eagle Leasing ever existed. I don't remember signing any contract with them ever. I only dealt with the representatives of RBS Lynk. I was told by them that I would only pay for 2 years and then i would own the terminal.
