Subject: Re: the Samsung GALAXY S3 from Craigslist $300
To: Jessica Hedinger

Hi Jessica,

I'm sorry, but I've been researching a bit on Interparcel, and from a good chunk of people who've tried to do transactions through them before, the reviews don't look so good. Sorry to be so skeptical, but after considering, I think I really only want to do this in person. Sorry for the inconvenience, but thanks for your offer. I think I just have to back out of this one.

Regards,

Andrew

Hi Andrew,

I received the phone as a birthday gift but I already had an iPhone 4s. I
used the Galaxy S3 for 2 weeks to see how it works. Now I decided to sell
the Galaxy S3 and keep the iphone.
The transaction will go like this. The first step is to send me your name
and address and then I can send the Galaxy S3.
After I take the Galaxy S3 to Interparcel they will verify the Galaxy S3,
and then contact you to confirm they have the Galaxy S3 and the
specifications of the Galaxy S3 and that they are ready to deliver the
Galaxy S3 using Fedex or UPS.
They will also send you a set of payment instructions and once you
complete the payment to them and they secure the funds they will deliver
the Galaxy S3.
After you receive the Galaxy S3 and use it and check it and see that it is
as I described you will notify Interparcel to send me the funds and the
deal will be complete.
Can we do this?

Thanks,
Jessica

Hi Jessica,

I've never heard of Interparcel before, the process looks solid, and
logically, it makes a lot of sense. Just to clarify, since the amount you
want is $300, which is between $100 and $5000, the wire transfer option *
must* be used, right? At least, that's what the website makes it seem,
right here:

But thanks for looking—I think this will work out. One last question... Is
there any reason you're selling your Galaxy SIII? It's one of the best
phones on the market right now, I can completely admit that. If you don't
mind me asking, sorry. If there's bumps, scratches, software/hardware
errors, I'll most likely still buy it anyway (though it looked fine in the
pictures), but I'm a little curious as to why you're selling it. Thanks.

Regards,

Andrew

Hi Andrew,

I was checking for a way to make the exchange from here to you in the US
and I came across this option, which is a very good way to make this
exchange.
It's provide by a company called Interparcel and it will help us with
this
transaction.
They seem designed specifically for internet transactions, they handle
both the payment and delivery part of this transaction. They seem pretty
nice and trustworthy and they provide a service that we can use for our
exchange.
The link below is from Interparcel website and it explains their
procedure. Please check the link and the procedure and let me know if
you
agree to the terms.

With this procedure Interparcel will deliver the Galaxy S3 to you,
receive
your payment and I will receive the payment for the Galaxy S3 only after
you instruct them to do so.
I will pay the shipping.
Let me know if we can proceed.

Thanks.
Jessica

Hi Jessica,

Looks legit enough for me! I'm in, but... How do you propose the
exchange?
I
thought this was going to be in Milwaukee, but I'm not sure how you
want
this to work out if you'll be in Vancouver. Whatever works best for
you,
let me know. I can try to be as flexible as I can. Thanks!

Regards,

Andrew

Hi Jessica,

Thanks for getting back to me so soon. The add said the location
was
in
Milwaukee... So I'm a little confused—are you coming back, or are
you
going
to ship the phone if someone buys it? My other question is just a
technical
one. Is it for sure a *i9300* Galaxy S III, the international
version,
without any carrier branding on it? (there should be a branding on
the
back
if there is any) If it is, a picture of the 'About phone' section
in
the
settings menu should confirm the model number.

I'm sorry to be so obnoxious about the specifications, but the
difference
between all the different versions of the Galaxy S III out there is
a
big
deal to me, so I was interested in your add when you had the
'i9300'
in
the
title. But thank you so much for being organized and informative
with
your
presentation—I definitely appreciate that. I just want to be
concise
about
what I'm looking for so I can do business with you. Thanks again.

Regards,

Andrew

Hi, I am getting back to you regarding the Samsung GALAXY S3 from
Craigslist

My name is Jessica and I am now in Vancouver, BC, Canada.
The phone is still available and I hope you are still interested.
I am selling the phone for $300 US. I have attached some pics with
it
to
this email.
Included in the $300 price is everything that came with the phone
and
also
the warranty papers.
I tried to be as thorough as I could with the presentation so you
can
have
all the info if you decide to go ahead and buy it. So what do you
think?
Do
you want my S3?

Thanks,
Jessica
