I gave Be2 a try and fell for the advertising crap and then took out full membership. I was getting intros to people all over the world and not at all where I lived. I emailed them and complained and was told somewhat tersly by Sarah Anderson that they believed their matches to be very good and give them a go! I live in Australia, why would I fly to New York to meet someone over coffee?
I then tried to cancel my membership but was constantly frustrated and gave up.in the end I had my bank issue me with a new credit card thinking that would be the end of the matter! Around 2 months ago I was contacted by them stating I had agreed to a legally binding contract and they would start the debt collection routine if I did not give them another $240 Australian dollars.
After a few very angry emails I sought legal advice here in OZ and was told they would not in court have a leg to stand on as there buisiness must also comply and opperate under Australian Law.
Also they had failed to uphold their part of the contract because I am a gay man and they were introducing me to woman!!!
This company is nothing short of a criminal scam and I would advise all Australian victims not to give them so much as a stale biscuit.
