I posted a vehicle for sale on carsforsale.com and received a text from (323) 426-3837 "Viewed your item you posted on carsforsale and was so interested to purchase, so kindly get back to me on my email [email protected] with your willing price."

Sounded like a scam, and coming here confirmed it! I hope this additional information helps someone else.
