Hired CertaPro to paint entire house and was quoted a 2-3 day job. I was told they would take down blinds, patch and sand all nail holes, prime all walls with special primer and sand down problem areas in the baseboards. Painters show up and thought they were painting 2 rooms. I had to walk through and spend 30 minutes telling them what I wanted done (something that should have been told to them already). When stopping by 2 hours later, they had apparently laid down plastic through the entire house, patched holes, let it dry, sanded them down, primed, let it dry and painted the first coat within that 2 hours. Impossible. I called Certapro and was told that they were simply "fast and efficient." Considering they thought they had 2 rooms and realized it was an entire house, fast and efficient = rushed. They finished within the day; way too quickly, and tried to get me to do the walk through at night so they didn't have to come back, I told them I wanted to look during the day with good light. The next day for the walk through, about 20 mistakes needed to be corrected, including not sanding down patches for nail holes. Once sanded down and corrected, I noticed that the primer I had been charged an extra $100 for had not been used, which greatly altered the final color that we wanted. Line work was terrible, colored paint ended up on my kitchen cabinets, kitchen floors, several white doors, window latches, and carpet. When going to clean the blinds, I noticed paint on almost every set of my new wood blinds, meaning they did not take them off like I was told they would. Several areas including around outlets and close to baseboards had been forgotten about and not cut in. Total I had about 1400 square feet painted and 4 accent walls. I was discounted the $100 for the primer and an additional $100, bringing the total to $2300. The quality of what is left in my house is no more than $1000 worth, and that's including cost of paint and materials. My blinds were not replaced, my cabinets still have paint on them, my carpet still has paint on it, and I was told they could not remove the paint from the windows. I would not recommend this company to anyone.
