We did some option trading with this company a year or two ago and still had a credit balance deposit with them of $2800 which we assumed we could either trade with or preferably get a refund of those monies. For some unknown reason they placed a hold on our account through which we cannot have access to those funds either for refund or the ability to trade with them.
They had not removed the hold or sent a refund which we have requested both through conversation and through email correspondence. We have tried many times to contact them through telephonic communication and are seldom able to get through even though they advetise an opportunity for personal contact through their telephone number which is listed on their website.
I have been able to talk to someone named Ron
about this situation and he has promised that a supervisor would contact us. He also said that we must prove that those funds are ours by sending an email transmission of a valid driver's license - which we have done - to establish proof of who we are. No supervisor, or anyone else has ever contacted us as was promised to discuss this matter.
We're very concerned that this organization is either an illegal operation or a scam and we want a refund of our monies. They may be doing the same thing with others.
I informed them in an email sent to them today that I would contact the Federal Trade Commission, which I am now doing because I am not only concerned about our monies, but if they are doing it with others.
We are not wealthy and are very elderly, having to live in an assisted living facility and could well use those funds which belong to us. Please help us if you can. Their telephone number is 1-800-435-7042.
