I purchased an hp 6600 e all in one printer from officemax in late may. The ink cartridges came pre-loaded when delivered. Only after printing 8 pages the yellow ink was completely depleted rendering the printer inoperatable. I contackted officemax for help but to no avail, they said that this was a problem with the mfg. Got hold of hp and they said that the printer was shipped with 'set-up' cartridges only and new ink was required for all ink systems. Hp said this was typical when purchasing from companies like officemax and office supply companies. No where on the box or the description of purchase from office max does it say 'set up cartidges only'. What a rip-off. I ended up buying the ink cartidges directly from hp, they discounted the cost by 20 % and doubled my order for free and including free next day delivery. I will never buy anything from officemax again. Lessen learned is buy direct from the mfg, hp ships their product with the long life cartridges not the 'set-up' only cartridges' like officemax.in the end it cost me $70, thanks officeminimum/st
