Hello, i'm am filing this report as a last resort. One day while watching tv i came across an advertisement on a credit/insurance card i called the 1800 number just to find out how the way things worked.
They explained to me tht it was insurance and that it was a credit card but that there were going to need my bank account number for the purpose of them depositing 25 dollars in to my account as a gift. I gave the number not knowing their scam.
Shortly after the told me that i as going to have to pay 180.00 or more for the first 3 months and 89.00 or more every month after that. At that point i felt it wasn't worth my money so i asked them to cancel my application and that i wasn't intersted any more. Then i hung up the phone. A few weeks later i recieved my bank statement (first convienance bank) and it showed that almost 200.00 had been withdrawed from my account by that company. When i saw what they had done i was furious.
I have tried for several weeks to contact this company but i keep gettiong nothing. The 1800 number exists but when i confront the operatore who answers i get hung up on and no answer after that the website doesn't exist customer doesn't exist the card doesn't exist and they had anough nerve to send me a letter in the mail. The worst part is that i continue to see their commercial and every time they avoid my phone call. I need help with this because i was robbed. They commited fraud and are still committing fraud thank you for your time.
