I purchased a whirlpool Cabrio top load H. E washer and dryer in july. The washer left a white film like on my clothes... More noticable on the dark. As time went on it became worst. Now it was ruiningmy clothes... Especially the whites. Clothes were coming out dirtier than they went in. Had them serviced. Changed cold water valve, filter etc. The last service man told me there was nothing wrong with the machine. It is the design of machine. Gave me suggestions which he had been directed by whirpool tech. I followed them... Use only tide, use liquid softner, set on extra rinse, use the bulky load setting. Nothing has changed. So I pd. 1000.00 dollars for a washer that does not wash clothes. I am aware that the Gov. Has deemed the amount of water allowed to be used. I had a front load washer h. E no prob. According to the dealer they have had the same complaints from several other customers with this paticular model When I called whirpool... Just recieved I am sorry we sold you a washer that dosnt wash clothes, Has ruined your clothes but there is nothing we can do to help you. No recalls as of yet. I wonder if the same would apply if it were a car that didnt drive, Food that was not edible, etc. All I am asking for? Is what I pd. For. I live alone on a budget. So here I sit with a 1000.00 dollar washer I get to look at. Too afraid to use. Cannot afford to replace clothing.
