I was contacted from Trader Workers On-line saying that they give referrals for people such as I who have the experience in the trades I do. I asked them many questions and they seemed legit. The person particularly focused on the fact that they deal with banks getting REOs back on the market and the banks need work done on the properties. Since I deal in distressed properties I thought this fitting for me. The sign up fee was $100 with a "back ground check", that did seem odd but I was not concerned about it. I spend a lot more on advertising so $100 was not much at all to try them out. But now that I have been dealing with them I am finding that there is no way to get hold of them. The few "leads" they have sent me only have an email but I never get a responses. There is no phone numbers which is very odd, as with other lead providers I've used over the years I always get phone numbers. I have called and written emails to Trade Workers and they do not respond. The fact that the leads are suspect and that they will not return calls is an indicator that they may be a scam operation. - dw
