My boyfriend called to book an appointment with Monster Duct for $109.95 but MD charged him for $279 because of more vents. Till that day, MD came and told me unexpected that furnace and A/C coil need to be cleaned for $200. I asked to see Shopper's source for advertising. It said 109.95 for unlimited package. I checked its website and did not see any package information. I was not sure if I should have furnace and a/c cleaned then I went ahead with it. I was charged with $480. Three weeks later, I found out that I was charged for $490 and $507 on the same day! I called and got voice mails. The woman said she would look at that and text me tonight without asking for more explanation as if she knew something. Next day, I called and called to get her on phone. I explained the issue. She said the bank would contact her. I said no, you should fix it and return my money. She will call me back. No again. Next day, I called her. She said I would get money tonight. After weekend, I checked. No, I did not get money. I called for a few times and got voice mails. The man picked up and said hello for 10 times as if he could not hear. I called back and got voice mail. The next day, I kept receiving voice mails. I asked my sister to call MD. She said she charged me for credit card fee, $10 to add to $480 without asking me first. She refused to deal with my sister. I called back and got her on phone. She finally asked me questions then she put me on hold and hung up. I called back and got voice mail. I fed up. I have my brother to call MD. He demanded MD explanation about specific packages since ad said $109.95 for unlimited package. She mumbled and said she call back. I doubt. I am very angry. That's over one week. I will call MD everyday till it return my money. MD is very dishonest business. It ripped me off. Shame on Monster Duct. Even after finishing to sign bill, the Indian guy asked us for tip! I said nothing. That's unprofessional! I have its billing with BBB logo on. It is not accredited. I found out that MD had 5 complaints through BBB. Don't trust Monster Duct.
