I got a check from MIT for $2,500. Went to BofA and asked if it was good. The Bank called the sheriff and I was arrested and charged with 3 felonies. $1,600 to bail. DA wouldn't dtrop the charges. After 11 days in jail I plead no contest to 2nd degree burglary (?) to get out. Almost lost my dog. Lost the motor home I was living in. Lost a lot of my belongings. Now have a burglary on my record and can never work in a retirement home again. I'm pissed. But what can I do. I don't have the money to fight it.
