I have been receiving magazines for two years. I tried to cancel shortly after I ordered them. Due to lack of finances from going on disability this was financially difficult. VIP contacted almost every two days if my payment was late. They harassed me and told me I could not cancel any time because they pay these magazines up front. I was informed when I signed up that I could cancel. Also when I signed up it was for $20 a month. I called them because I was being charged $39.99 a month. They said I agreed to the $39.99 a month plan for two years. I did not agree to this. VIP wouldn't stop calling me and sending me letter for payment. I told them I could not afford this. I wanted to cancel. I was informed I had to make a payment for $240 to catch up on payments right away. And they will call me every two days until I do. This caused a lot of hardship on me financially and physically. I was on disability for stress and anxiety, depression, IBD, ulcerative collitis, and other physical conditions.
