My Name is Sourav Chakraborty and I filed my US tax return through IBSN Inc (www.myibsn.com) for the tax year 2010. This company has their office in the following city - 3406,78th Street Ct

I got an audit notice from IRS on March for my 2010 Tax return. I contacted IBSN Inc for representing my case with IRS on my behalf. After repeated emails and follow-up calls they sent the necessary documents which is require to proceed with the case. They also asked $206 from me as Tax representation fee. I provided them all the documents, power of attorney form, requested fee everything. It happened during last week of April. There were no responses, replies from IBSN after that and again after repeated emails/followups I came to know that on 3rd May they faxed all the documents to IRS. After that I haven't heard back anything from them. After waiting 1 week for getting the confirmation I called IRS agent and came to know that they haven't got any Fax-Letter from IBSN. I asked IBSN to show the proof of the Fax transmission letter which still they cant show me. I faxed all the necessary documents to IRS after that and came to a settlement after repeated calles with IRS. IRS agent was very helpful and very cooperative in this regard since I was the one who was providing all the necessary information to IRS. So IBSN took $206 from me but hasn't done any thing for this Tax representation case other than sending a Fax to IRS which they cant show as proof. Even if they sent a Fax to IRS their responsibility shouldn't stop their since its their duty to do follow-up and keep me updated. I would suggest you to look into these links as well to check that IBSN service is highly suspicious and fraudulent. There are lots of complaints against this company. They get the money for the service and they didn't even care to reply/follow-up. This company should be banned and everybody should be warned accordingly.
