I am a Heald College student and am in my last quarter. On 6-1-12 i began my internship, 14 hours into this company I received a call from my teacher at Heald stating that I have been excused form that site due to "not taking my job serious" I was shocked to hear this. I am now being told by Heald college that in order to graduate I am going to have to take the class over and pay for it out of my own money and that it has to be paid in full prior to graduating. Heald cant tell me the exact amount this will be only and estimate of anywhere between $2,000-5,000 dollars. I am a single mom with no employment I don't have that kind of money. I DID take my internship very serious and I wrote a letter to the owner of the site asking him to please send back some constructive criticism as to what he felt i did. He has not responded back. I am 47 years old and I am not out to play games especially when it comes to my career. Heald will not help me with this. Do I have a rite to fight here? Heald will not back me up on this I asked my director if she would call the site since they would not respond to me as to what exactly it was I did wrong and she said she could not make that call. Its as if they want me to fail. Can you help me?
