They talked us into a membership at the grand miramar for 45, ooo. 00 in turn they said they would sell our grand luxxe membership for the equity we had in it. We returned to p. V in feb, 12 and used the three weeks they promised us at the pennisula condo they also paid the airfare from canada to p. V round trip. We had a great time at this condo and thought everthing was great. The two people we dealt with at Mangos was John Monte and Mike gardeua the salesman. We also went on a 4 hr fishing trip which they paid for and a Pirate ship tour. We were contacted by James Brooks at Contenental resources who then passed us on to Emma Palmer at World Property connections who told us see had a buyer for the Grand Luxxe. We were then contacted by Rose Thomas from Advantage Trust International, she sounded very convincing about the sale transaction, see was the closing agent and already had the buyers funds in escrow account. See has then proceeded to get us to wire closings costs, transfer fees, taxes, and commision also excess income tax see said had to be paid to the mexico before they could release the buyers funds. All the out going costs were to be reembursed to us on final closing. We are not able to get either Rose Thomas or Emma Palmer to ever answer the phone and are left hanging. We were so stupid to get scammed this way but they were so convincing, both my husband and i talked to them. I Talked to James Brooks at Contential resources and he listened and told me he used Emma Palmer many times to sell property. I know this is really stupid but is there any type of claim we can make on these people, how do we ever try any get our money back. Where do we start??
