I purchased an accident and disability policy through Aflac I asked the agent how the disability policy worked and if It pain if I was hurt at work or in addition to workmans comp she said yes I asked her 3 different times. Four months into my policy I was hurt at work Filed my claim and was denied because it happened at work. They conclude they were not responsible for the information she provided me and even though they were'nt there said she never told me that. I was directed to a regional manger who said I could have purchasd a rider that would have paid me under the same circumstances it would have increase my payment from $141 to $146. If i'd had known I needed that I would have bought it. She did not no what she was selling I do not believe she lied intentionally. They also didnt pay all of what they were suppose to pay on the accident policy. I think what shocks me the most there attitude was horrible toward me. So I was hurt expecting income that I never received because of the agent misrepresntation.instead of all the commercials to promote the Duck maybe they should train people who sell there product so they dont hurt people like me.
