She sent me a check to purchase a vehicle. I got my brother-in-law to deposit the check. After 3 days the bank said the check was clear and released the money. Then 2 days later the bank said the check didn't clear and wanted the money back, but it had already been spent. Now the bank wants me to repay the money.
