My daughter found a teacup yorkie online. Same type of advertising. $200.00 to ship. The owner, Arthur, sent adorable pictures and we continuted to contact the owner though email. I asked him to varify the cost of shipping, and then I started receiving text messages that he was on his way to drop the puppy off. When I asked him to call me or for his number for me to call him, he said he didn't have a phone. (Seems shady, right?) He then told me to watch for an email to confirm that the puppy was dropped off and payment arrangements. I checked online with some other pet shippers and the cost sounded reasonable. When I got the email I was asked to send the money via Western Union. I then started to google Inter Pet Movers and came across these posts of scams. Needless to say I texted Arthur back and said that I wasn't going to send the money Western Union. He then responded that I can paypal him the money and he would pay them. My final response was that I wasn't going to deal with Inter Pet Movers. Thank you for posting the earlier scam information. It it hadn't been for these posts, I too would have been out of $200.00 and no puppy.
