I received a check in the mail claiming to give me 300$ to do a survey on Western Union, and to choose from Three Retail stores (K-Mart, Best Buy, Walmart). Once I sent them the money back (1911$) the check had bounced. This caused me to lose everything in my savings and what was left in my checking account. What they do is convince or fool you into agreeing to say that the transfer for money is for a family member or friend. Because what happens is, Western Union likes to call and check to make sure your not being fooled (ironically) but because you are trying to remain under cover for the "survey" the victim does not realize that it is not logical and safe to lie about who you are sending the money too. This in turn protects the scammer from the situation because you unintentionally give Western Union the consent to send the money and the deed is done. So please! If anyone is reading this DO NOT FALL FOR IT! I was reckless and didn't think to call or research the company.: (Now I don't have money for college which was the whole point of looking for extra income. Don't let this happen to you too!!!
