I was traveling from Miami, Florida on October 31 to Rochester, New York on one of the Greyhound Buses. When I arrived in Atlanta, GA, I could not find my luggage. I notified the bus driver, and I was told my luggage might be already in Rochester, NY. However, when I arrived in Rochester, NY; my luggage were not found. I was told to check back on the following day for my luggage. I did so on the following day however my luggage were not found. Therefore, I was told to fill out a claim form to keep track of my lost luggage and I did so. I was not given a claim number until I threaten Greyhound Bus Company with a lawsuit. That was not the end of my battle, my claim was denied in January; because my luggage were not properly process by one of the employees at the Greyhound Bus station in Miami, FL. However, I would not accept that unreasonable reason. Therefore I called back again to have my claim reviewed; however my claim was already reviewed and a check was mailed to the address that I traveled to even though I informed the claim representatives that the address that was listed on the claim was not my current resident; the information wasn't updated. I was told on May; to fax a letter stating my current address and I did so on May 10. After my current address was updated, I was told to wait 72 hours to find out the status of the check that was mailed to the address in Rochester, NY; I am still waiting on the status of the check and for Greyhound Bus Company to reissue another check.
