I posted a bed for sale on Craigslist; received an inquiry as to whether the bed was still available from k/t [email protected] to which I responded that it was and would go to the first person who came to our home with cash to pick it up. I gave my cell phone for address & directions. I received the following response from [email protected]:

satisfied and comfortable with your advert, hence still available, I
will send a Bank check to cover the cost of my purchase as well as
pickup logistics. Sincerely i am keen on having this to be mine. So
kindly avail to me the details of whom & where to mail the payment
package. It will be delivered by the Fedex courier Service within
2-3days of the receipt of your details. Please note Fedex do not
deliver to P.O. Box addresses., The below is required:
1. Name to be on the check
2. Home address
3. Mobile #
In otherwords i presume a sealed transaction so, Kindly delete the
advert on Craig's List as am totally committed to buying from you to
save me cost, My mover will be coming over for the pick up right only
after the payment as been delivered and I want you to understand that,
I would have love to call but i am hearing impaired and i am always
very preoccupied with work site inspection all week long, so do me a
favor by sending me emails and pictures if available.

I wrote back to nic30008@gmail saying that I considered their message to be a scam and would not be doing business with them.
