I am a musician who has a music ministry. I received an invitation from someone saying he is the Pastor of Victory Outreach Church in the UK. His name was Pastor Richard Taylor. He stated that after viewing my profile on my website, he wanted to invite me to their church to do a one hour concert for the Victory Praise Youth and Adult Conference 2012. At first I was sceptical but I receive many request like this and most of them have been legit. I continued reading and praying for God to reveal to me if this was real. I corresponded back with him and he said that his committee was prepared to handle my hotel accomodations, food, ground transportation for my husband but that I would need to secure an airline ticket for my husband. He also offered and honorarium of $8500 as a performance fee with 3/4th of the money to be sent to me after I confirmed that I had all of my documents in order and signed his agreement. After which, they would send me my airline ticket. Trust me. This looked really legit. I prayed for confirmation and God lead me to this site. Thank you Jesus. I found another ministry, a speaker who had experienced the same exact thing. I'm thankful I found the other complaints posted with similar experiences which stopped me from falling for this evil scam. Shame on this man for targeting Christians who want to do the work of the Lord. I'm so glad I did the research FIRST!
