I went in to an app on facebook who asked me to enter my phone number in order to access some information. I was then entered into a competition in order to access the information which was sent through a text. I was asked to answer some questions in order to enter the competition to win an ipad. I replied to the texts with Yes or No and then I received a last text informing me that I successfully completed the competition entry and I would be charged £30 for the service. At no point before did the company mention anything about charging me to enter the competition and I got free texts with my contract so I had absolutely no idea they could do this.
