Received text from 872-202-5102 stating I'd just won a 1000.00 Walmart giftcard. URL given to claim included walmart.com in the address but was not a walmart page: http: www.walmart.com. Myfreecard.Biz/claim
Upon going to website, I entered FREE in the code box as requested and the page started to redirect. My McAfee antivirus software warned me that the next page was dangerous and I stopped there. I knew it was a scam from the URL but wanted to see to what degree. IMO, the redirected page would either place a virus to steal your information or place a virus to control ads placed on valid webpages you visit for someone to profit from. Beware!!!
