Nestle Purina's Waggin Train Chicken Tenders, which is currently under FDA investigation, poisoned 2 of my dogs - one border collie mix, one lab mix, both over 65lbs each.
These dogs received one treat per day. Eventually one dog became visibly ill and ended up in ICU for 3 days... She was stabilized with meds and returned home. We ran blood work on her sister who showed extremely elevated liver enzymes and is now also on meds. The first dog relapsed and was back in ICU for 4 days, at deaths door. She finally stabilized and is now on 6 different meds and a home cooked diet.
Nestle Purina REFUSES to issue a voluntary, precautionary recall until the FDA investigation is complete, allowing hundreds of more dogs to fall ill or die... They do this KNOWINGLY. They blame the dog owners. They MIGHT offer to pay a portion of a vet bill in exchange for a NON DISCLOSURE contract.
