Traded a 2003 chevy tahoe in excellent condition for a 2005 gmc sierra 1500 4x4 truck. The truck has low milage and seamed to run good, bought the truck they would only give me a 3000 mile or 90 day warranty I thought that was a little strange since the truck only had 53000 miles on it bought it any way went over the mountain with it to Worland on the way home it started cutting out and the check engine light came on. When we got home I took it to Whites told them what happend they couldnt get it in the shop for a week, thought they were bl, owing me off, upset me engine light going on and off made an appointment to take it to Buds Auto they ran compression tests that said low compression on cylinder 4 not good there conclusion was that it needs a new motor. WHAT I have only paid 2 payments I take it to Whites they run tests on it say nothing is wrong then they test drive it and find out that there is. It needs a new motor, at this point im 500 miles over my 3000 mile warranty. So im stuck with a $25,000.00 truck that needs a new motor. They said they can get me one for their cost $7,800.00 I feel, like im being! @#$%^ Cant get a personal loan for that amount. Just tried to get the carfax on it it says there are 17 issues on record for that VIN number so tell me they didnt know something was wrong with it guess I had sucker written on my forhead when I walked in that day. Is there any thing I can do or am I FUCKED!!!
