Dunkin Donuts stole my instructor's advertising idea

My instructor came up with and advertising campaigned called "Who Brought the Donuts?" with details, and the whole 9-yardsof information.

She submitted it to Dunkin Donuts, and they were not interested at the time, but suggested she copyright it. She did.

Well, Dunkin Donuts went ahead and used her idea without her permission or compensation, and their lawyers pretty much condescend her when she contacts them regarding it.

Well, all she originally wanted was acknowledgement and Dunkin Donuts to contribute to a scholarship fund at our school.

Well, the advertising man who ran with this won a "runner up" mention for his supposed idea, and Dunkin Donuts did pull the campaign, even though it pushed numbers up in their test markets and it was successful.

I think Dunkin Donuts should pay her for her time an efforts in trying to rectify the situation without going to court. I would like Dunkin Donuts to agree to the terms of my instructor's requests, because I am not the only student who cannot believe how callous Dunkin Donuts can be, and us students have quite a bit of time to sit on the internet and "share" ideas - many of us are not from the city our University is in. We come from ALL OVER The United States and Europe.
