A young man came to my home, and sold me a subscription to The Sporting news for a year, the cost, $55.00. He went on to tell me the magazine could take up to 2 months to get the 1st of the batch. So October rolled by, and i decided to call the number on the slip (717) 755-3480, and was told by a somewhat rude female representative that the magazine had been discontinued, and to select another, which was "US" magazine. I waited until January to call back to see the status, and was then told again, by what i believe might have been the same rep., that that magazine was also discontinued, and to choose another. So at this point i ask for a full refund, having given them a couple of chance to get me a magazine, and she had said they would mail out the refund of $55.00 by 30 business days, and this was January 13th. February 20th rolled by, and did not see a check, and was then told, there was a snag, it would be mailed out by March 2nd. March 9th i called, only to be told a check number, and a lie that it would be mailed out in the next 2 weeks. I called today, the number has changed, and i never have received a check. I have a family to feed, and thought i was helping this young kid out, and at the same time get some reading material, instead i get burned $55.00, and i am hella PISSED OFF!!!
