I purchased die-cast cars for my son. I've made a total of 3 purchases with Nascar.com and have had not a problem until now. I look at my bank account on a daily basis and noticed a pending charge on my Debt card for $85 for Nascar Membeship?!!? I called Nascar.com let them know that I purchased a diecast car but did not sign up or authorize $85 for any membership. Apparently when you place an order they put you on the membership for a 30 day trial basis and if you don't call and cancel they charge your card. What a ripoff! Thank goodness the amount is pending. I have to wait until tomorrow which is a Monday to call the company 1-877-696-2722 to see what they are going to do for me. I expect they will tell me that I authorized this and that it is non-refundable. I plan to go to my bank tomorrow and cancel my current debt card so I won't be charged a second time. I plan to dispute the transaction with my bank and tell them the truth about the scam this company is running. Hopefully it will pan out.By the way, I have no idea what Nascar Membership even offers? If I was on a trial basis for 30 days I have no idea what they are selling because I got nothing (lol). I should be able to charge them for my time to fix this mess!
