Hello I was almost a victim of this Scam. I had this Barrister write me a letter stating that I was the only family member that he has found. The supposed relative had passed away in April and left behind funds of $3.5 Million Dollars.
I was excited and had no clue about all the Scams in the third world countries. I replied back and told him that I would cooperate. Well after a while I told my husband and a friend. Well the friend looked up some stuff on the internet trying to find this guy. Well he was not on any of the legal sites.
He finally did a search about Nigeria and found this website, just in the nick-of-time. Ya know, just when you think you can trust somebody they have to go and do this kind of crap to inocent people. I will never reply to another email again. Plus a day later after replying to the letter, I recieved another one from the sufo family stating that the guys grandfather had been shot and his farm was burnt down. He left behind $15 Million Dollars. The only reason why I gave this other guy a chance was because I did have family in Nigeria they went there to explore. But then I found out that they had made it home safely.
So if you are reading this watch out for all those unappropriate words and don't let them Con you into getting screwed.
