I had a service repair man come to my home 5 times in January to fix a Maytag Washer that is only 6 years old. Needless to say, the washer still is not working. I wrote a certified letter to the CEO of Maytag on February 13 to state the facts and question the life expectancy of the washer. His secretary called me to say there was absolutely nothing they could do for me. I wrote a follow up letter to let him know that as a consumer I was not pleased with his lack of committment to the product and also stated that the shareholders would be amazed to learn that not only does he not stand behind his product, but does not stand behind his mission statement
