The company itself is not a bad one. The people who work there are fine. It's the owners that are crooks. If they owe you money, you will never see it. They only care about themselves and will stop at nothing. They cheat their employees, and treat them horribly.
They write bad checks, and when you go to them about it they blow you off. If you contact them about getting the money they owe you, they will ignore all contact. This is a crooked business. Be wary when working with them, or better yet don't work with them at all!
