Do not trust anyone operating under Burbank Talent Management or SS Entertainment Group. Some of the names they use are Sean Smith, Alex Atwater and Molly Mackenzie. "Sean Smith" is an alias for Anthony Jefferson who also goes by DJ Tone, Tone and Tone Jones.
I answered and ad for a personal assistant and received a call back from Alex Atwater. I was told the job was for a busy music executive and paid $35hr plus $35 a day per diem. I was set up on interview at a Starbucks in Bakersfield. I had a lot of questions as to why they were operating business this way and every question I asked was met with a quick answer (obviously these people are professional scam artists and have been doing this for a long time). I met with "Sean Smith" who I now know is Anthony Jefferson. I was shown pictures of him with his talent etc. I was hired and filled out all the neccassary paper work i. E: work contract, confidentiality contract, w10 and direct deposit form. Which gave these criminals access to all of my personal information.
I worked 130 hours for this person in a 2 week time fame. I was told I would be receiving my first check in 2 weeks from the day I started. Since this is common when starting a new job, I didn't think much of it. I used my cc for expenses and was told they would be added onto my first check. During the time I worked for him I went to an event at Nokia Theatre with him backstage with another girl named Donna, who claimed she was his old assistant and how wonderful of a boss he was. I was introduced to event coordinators who knew him as Snoop Dogs assistant, I wrote up ads for him to scout new models, met and interviewed these models. I also held meetings with potential new talent from people working in the industry that evidently do not know he is a scam artist. He and his associates are running a HUGE scam. They are even scamming people IN THE INDUSTRY.
From the information I have gathered, Anthony Jefferson aka DJ Tone was once a part of Snoop Dog's camp and it ended badly. People in the industry have seen him around so much they don't question him when he says he is a talent manager for these big time people.
He tried to assault me in my car one night and I quit the next day. When I asked for my pay check that was due in 2 days, he was no were to be found and no one in his "office" would answer the phones or respond to my emails. I received an email from him shortly after trying to blackmail me with a shady video in an attempt to deter me from calling the police. I believe he set up a video camera in my hotel room, a room he got for me to stay in after a late event, and recorded me in my room. I called the police that very second. They are now involved.
He can not be trusted. He is a dangerous criminal.
