I answered an advertisement for a "genuine opportunity" of the "best guaranteed independent homemailer program in North America". It also states that "if I am dissatisfied with the gomemailer program and your guide for any reason, I may return both in reusable condition within 30 days for a full refund of my one-time returnable deposit - no questions asked!". I sent in my payment, received the packet, was completely dissatisfied with the scam and returned the booklet for my refund. It has been 10 months and I have heard nothing from this racketeer. The work it advertised was just getting suckers like me to buy the same booklet I was sent. The phone number it listed is inaccesible and the company is in New Haven, CT so I can't knock on their door. It is not a lot of money, but it is enough to irritate me to this remedy.
