Our small business received a call from 989-796-4494 (CallerID showed Michigan call and when I called this number it's not a working #). Gentleman on line stated he was calling as courtesy to get authorization to cancel the yellowpage listing. He asked to speak with the owner or office manager. He stated he just needed authorization to cancel the listing. I asked what was the listing because I was the only one who would have agreed to a listing. He said he had authorization from 2009 to list online and all he needed was authorization to cancel and he would send all the paperwork. I kept asking what the listing was and who authorized. He just kep saying, he just needed authorization to cancel listing and everything would be sent in mail. I asked what would be sent in mail and he said the cancellation notice and invoice. I asked what invoice and he said for the $599.40. I asked what company he was with and where he was located. He said the Yellow Page Company. I asked for a supervisor but he kept insisting all he needed was authorization to cancel the listing. After three times, he went for a supervisor.

Camilla Stewart, claiming to be head supervisor, came on line and would not let me speak. After raising my voice, I told her I was not authorizating any cancelation because I did not order their service. She said all she needed was authorization to cancel and that would take care of everything. I asked her for company website and email - did not give me anything. I asked for her direct line. She gave me 234-635-6367 (when I called this number back was not a working #). I asked where she was located and she said Albany, NY. I told her I was not authorizating anything, even a cancelation. She said she could put invoice to her attention and asked if I could not tell anyone. I said, h* no, I'm going to report this to BBB, FCC, PUC and anyone else that will take the complaint. As I was speaking, another person came on the phone with a name of Casey Miller (#615-413-2125, which at least went to a voicemail but no greeting). All were extremely rude but Casey took the cake. I told Casey to do what she needed to do but I was not authorizing anything. Casey told me she was transferring me to quality control and I should "kindly" agree to what they asked. She said this three times, "I appreciate you to kindly answer yes to their questions".

Quality Control (Amber) came on line and asked if I authorized cancelation of listing. I told Amber no, I didn't authorize anything. Amber said "oh, I can't record the call then". I asked Amber why she couldn't record the call and she said she could only record authorizations. She quickly said someone would call me back and hung up.

All four representatives had foreign accents and were very sometimes difficult to understand. I'll be anxiously awaiting an invoice in the mail.

P.S. Cannot locate anything on the company name but found quite a few complaints very similar to mine.
