Angelic Inc The company is a total scam

On January 16 I was job hunting on craigslist and came across a posting from this company with the title Rookie Manager. This is the posting that I ran across on craigslist Seeking motivated individuals with an entrepreneurial spirit to help run 2 offices! Expansion is the goal of every business and with that success we are offering management positions for hard workers and quick learners. If you're a go-getter and ready to start a career in management please apply! Need to fill 3 positions ASAP! This is a full-time position Monday-Friday 9am-6pm. Compensation: 40K.

I figured after reading the posting to email them and ask more about the company like I do with any other job I find on craigslist. I got an email response the same day which says I just received the resume you submitted online to me! Based on what I have read, I feel that your more then qualified to have a meeting with me personally! Since the beginning of this year, I have opened multiple locations around the country, with my main focus on my newest location, Angelic Marketing! Angelic Marketing is expected to become the leader in advertising and marketing right here on Long Island! Due to this expansion, I currently have entry level openings in advertising/marketing, customer service, management, administrative & planning staff. Weekly paid training is available for all new employees. Experience isn't required, I have a no seniority policy, therefore I care more about your potential and your goals then your experience. However I do require an outgoing and energetic personality for all of my positions. I am beginning my interview process right away!

I went in for my interview on January 18 and waited a good half hour before I was even interviewed, and when I was interviewed I was told that the Rookie Manager position wasn't something they hire for you have to work your way up to it. I was then explained to more about the company and what they do and asked if it was something I could see myself doing and I said yes. I was then told if I was selected for a second interview I'd be given a call by 5pm that night. So I went home not expecting to get the call back but I did. My second interview was for January 20 and again I had to wait for a long time until someone talked to me. This interview I had to go out with a training manager and see what I thought of the job. The training manager I was sent out with I had to follow in my own car to Rocky Point from Deer Park. The kid seemed pretty cool and we could relate because we both grew up in the same neighborhood. When we got to Rocky Point I followed him around for an hour or so then I had to go back to Deer Park to sit down with the person who I had my first interview with to let her know what I thought about the job. She seemed really nice and let me know that after she talked to the person I was had followed out to get his opinion on if I was a good fit for the job I would get a call from either herself or him by 6pm.

Well 6pm rolled around and I hadn't heard anything from either of them so I figured I didn't get the job instead I get a call from him around 8:30 that night letting me know I got the job and I started Monday. I was excited to say the least because I have not worked in a while. When I got there Monday at 8:30am he taught me things I needed to know on how to do the no cost windshield repair/replacement and then around 10:30 we went out to roughly the same area we were at that Friday. The job seemed easy enough even though I was only on windshields for two days that Wednesday when I got in I was told by my manager who wasn't the lady who i interviewed with twice it was a gentleman that I kinda interviewed with before being sent out with the training manager for the second interview let me know I was being switched over to wax. I was kind of pissed because I wasn't asked if I'd like to be put on wax they just switched me and I was even more pissed because they never went over the pay scale with me. I think it was my first or second day when I was with the windshield kid on our way out east he let me know how it's commission only and they don't pay you back for the money you spend on gas. That Wednesday when I was switched to wax I was taught a little bit of what I needed to know for wax but I didn't start selling it that day because I had a doctors appointment so I started selling it the next day.

I really wish I hadn't taken the job at all because the guys who were training me on wax were immature and after working with them for most of the two weeks I worked for the company as I quit this passed Tuesday night treated me like crap if I didn't do well on sales as did the boss. At first the boss was telling me how he liked how well I was doing then when my wax sales weren't great he would get mad at me or if the one guy training me told him some b.S. He would text me saying call me. This started last Thursday when the kid started training another new person. The same kid training me on wax also did not believe me Monday when I worked with him and not the other kid training me on wax that I was sick that Friday and Saturday. He told me I had already made up my mind that I wasn't working Saturday which I responded that I told him I wasn't sure if I was going to work I had to see how I felt. I have a bad neck and I can only lift a certain amount but this kid who knows that would make me lift a heavy folding table and boxes.

The hours were also outrageous the posting claims 9am-6pm try 8:30am till whenever the person training you decides to go back we wouldn't get back to the office sometimes till 7 or 7:30. I wouldn't of cared if it was base pay and commission. It is a joke and I wouldn't recommend the job to anyone unless you don't care that you'll get treated like crap and lied to.
