This is one of the largest pre-settlement funding companies who loan you money against your pending lawsuit. I am a legally disabled woman who unfortunately borrowed twice from them following my 6th bilateral foot surgery when I was vulnerable on pain medication and under medical care. They defrauded me on the 2nd loan. Their lending agent, Adrian O'Neil, female, confirmed on the telephone that Addison would charge me $100 to borrow $300.00 for a total owed to Addison of $400.00 on this loan if paid within 120 days. Yesterday, Feb 7, when my case settled, it turns out I had signed a document to PAY $400.00 to borrow only $300.00. I spoke w Ms. O'Neal last night and she told me should would refund the $300.00. She told me she would call today to get the banking information to do so. Not only did she not call, her owner, boss, Jon, rudely told me "he has a signed document here w my name on it agreeing to repay $700 to borrow the $300.00."
When I told him I was going to file complaints with the A/G's office, the FTC, local police, etc., he scoffed and said; " you call whoever you want, were cashing the check and we're not refunding anything."
This company counts on people to missread or not completely read their contract, so after making a verbal agreement with the "sweet talking" Adrian O'Neal, they have trust, they are rushed or in poor health as I was and they get scammed.
