I worked as a contract worker in Denver for Holloway Consulting Group, LLC J Steve Holloway GC in November and December. I was making a spreadsheet taking specific data from construction reports and entering it into spreadsheets. This job was very straightforward and simple. It was tedious and boring work, but I did the task well and jobs are not that easy to come by these days.
Holloway sent me a check in January for the work I performed in November. For the 43.5 hours I worked between December 1-9 of 2010 at the aggreed upon rate of $25/hr for a total of $1087.50, Holloway decided not to pay me. Let me emphasize Holloway's audacity here: HE DECIDED NOT PAY ME $1087.50.
For anyone that is considering working for Holloway Consulting Group, LLC J Steve Holloway GC or using the services of Holloway Consulting Group, LLC J Steve Holloway GC, I beg of you to reconsider. This is a man that does not pay his bills. You will not be dealt with fairly, and if the whim strikes him, you will not be paid. I cannot stress this enough, beware of Holloway Consulting Group, LLC and/or J Steve Holloway GC. You have been warned.
