They mail a flier that looks like it came from your bank. It has the exact amount of money you owe on your motgage or if you would like a lower credit card rate. Had to fill out a form to see if i qualify for the rate. Now all info of you is given. Now they want to be mailed the money and then a attn'y will notify you. Never happens!
They then get you on the pc and phone at the same time to initial forms. What i caught was the forms were signed already with my false signature. I called the bank to stop the check (bank promo check), ups to stop the mailing and non of that worked. The system failed me.
The scammer cashes my check through my credit card acc't that the bank said they will block (they failed to do that) now the bank wants monthlty payments through the credit card on which the scammer cashed the check.
I'm fighting the bank for five months because they never cancelled my acc'ts when i called to stop the check, on that same day within two hours. So the scammer was able to do so at his bank. He scammed ups with the delivery of the check to him, because of having all my info from the application prior.
It's been a horror and had to change bank acc'ts and freeze other cards and it is a fighting battle with the bank. They just want your money. They made the scammer right and me the one who scammed them.
The guy is— brian udo @ this phoney law firm in cosa messa california. They have other aliases, so be careful.
Hopefully i'll prove my case and won't be out this money. Only because of the phoney flier, did i believe i was dealing with a real law firm from my bank. I saw my forged signature ans forged on the check. The bank don't want to accept my proof. So they hurt my credit until i get this resolved.
