Like the others, my laptop computer screen, wouldn't let me click on or go to anything else unless I bought this plan. It showed I had multiple viruses and I should download this program called "VISTA SECURITY 2012" to fix it. I finally gave in because it seemed like a legit product. Also because this was a recommended product by Microsoft for Vista. I agreed to a 1 year coverage & paid $59.95 (plus $1.80 International Processing fee, found after I had checked my checking account.) After following the steps given to buy the coverage, my laptop computer was released & started running a virus check again. Once it was done, it had been fixed, it has somewhat worked fine.
I wasn't aware of this scam until - I went to my bank account to balance my account for the week. All charges had gone through & it showed a $59.95 charged to a MONSTRCLOUD.com which I had not heard of.
I decided to cancel my subscription, so I went to that website & that is when I found out that it was all a scam.
If my computer hadn't been froze to where I couldn't get out until I was forced to buy a program that wasn't recommended by Microsoft for Vista & I wouldn't have bought or agreed to this program. There was nothing else I could do but to pay the money to fix my computer.
Like everyone else I also would like my money back! Plus if possible getting back the overdraft fees this transaction caused. ($144.00)
