My husband and I stopped at the Sunoco off of the PA turnpike, the Allentown PA rest stop to be exact. My husband who is 41 years old was carded for cigarettes. The oversized attendent would not sell them to him because his driver's license expired 2 days prior. Ok, completely understand, it's the law (even though my husband has gray hair maybe the attendent thought he wasn't of age). So, I tried to buy the cigarettes with my current ID. He would not sell them to me! My husband called him a "jerk off" and stormed out. I tried to smooth things over and purchase gas and a Gatorade. Attendant and "shift lead" came out demanding I leave the store! Telling me they were calling 911 because my husband verbally assualted them.By this time at least 50 people are crowded around register gawking! I was so embarassed I did nothing wrong. They wouldn't sell me gas, my car was on empty, I barely made it to another rest stop. I didn't catch either of their names. All I saw was the huge woman was a shift lead and the even bigger man was the cashier. This happened Sat Jan 21 approx 4pm at the Allentown rest stop, off of the PA turnpike. I will never go there again, I don't think I was ever so humiliated. My husband was in the wrong, yes. However, I was not.
