Back around I visited Dr. Melissa Goodman for Reproductive services, exam for my breeding female and also used her as teaser
to collect semen from my Male Leonberger, BRYAN. There was one more collection made there and stored for Bryan within another year.
After each collection I begged to pay the yearly storage fee on this semen, but was told each time, " Oh forget about it, we never get around to billing for that so can't give you an amount for now, so don't worry." This went on year after year, until I was never presented with or mailed ANY yearly Semen storage fees to pay.
Back then, I could have paid and was much younger and employed.
Now that I am disabled, and cannot even pay my basic living expenses, the "VeterinaryReproductiveServices@VOSRC" sent me an email asking to collect the sum of all these years of semen storage on BRYAN, my Leonberger and of course I had no money
to pay it now... Furthermore I told them that I never was billed for it back then, yearly as it should be, when I could pay, but now,
with no money on disability, they should have their accountant write it off as a loss since they failed to bill me for so many years when I could have paid it. Their acct said that they lowered it to
$750 but only if I could pay at least 1/2 of it within the last few days of 2011 (December). I said I was unable and they refused to budge as if they did not know that this type of behavior on their part is illegal and due to their nonbilling practices, it should be written off so I could send a charged nitrogen tank to ship BRyan's
2-3 collections (the total of what they have on him) to ship it to a
different REpro Vet I have chosen in MD. They refused and I sent one final email stating that I, as the owner of Bryan, whose semen it was, do NOT give my permisson for them to dispose of it OR sell or use it for another Leonberger breeding or anything.
This is the last communication, by email I've sent to them.
I still need to preserve and have released this complete collections of Bryan to the charged Nitrogen tank to be picked up and shipped FEDEX to MD.
My accountant told me to contact the appropriate Consumer
Protection bureau for Contract billing law assistance with this.

as a breeder and need your help on this problem.
I recently googled the Drs name and found MANY warnings about Dr. Melissa Goodman's incompetency in shipping, ruining one breeders entire breeding program by not following packaging instructions resulting in all of the semen dying enroute, and they were still charged by her. They describe her as greedy, incompetent and to beware because she is guilty of harboring a
disreputable business under her own business name of"Veterinary Reproductive Services", was fired from her last job, and continues to have the nerve to charge exhorbatant charges for a "botched" service. "She is a disgrace to her field and should be reported to
the Veterinary Liscencing Board at once", is what I read.
I just want your help as a person living on one way too small SSD check per month and I need to retrieve this semen and have you
give me the laws regarding her not having billed me all these years, and now, attempting to bill me the whole 10 yrs of storage payable only within the final days of 2011.
This semen is very precious to me and I need your help please.
I don't think she will destroy it, since its the only thing of value
she has of mine to hold over me. I paid in full every office visit and also offered to pay the semen storage back then, like I mentioned before and was just told not to worry about it, that it won't be billed.
I don't know how to get this released to the hospital who will send her an already charged nitrogen tank to transfer his Semen out of her place. Please help as I now read just how greedy and disreputable she is, and also that there is a consumer law regarding this type of behavior. Thank you sincerely,
