NSource is a "overseer" for sourcing business's to create a one stop call center for fielding business opportunities. The Problem goes as follows:
A person receives via postal mail an"Offer" for a "FREE" quote on a vehicle based on the BLACK BOOK VALUE. This is where the www blackbookoffer.com comes into play. It is asked that the person use the "ACCESS CODE" to enter the website. Once on the site, it turns into a plethora of Personal data gathering from Social security number, to address, to birthdate. It then goes on to ask your wage/income. If you proceed, it then tells you that a DEALER will be in contact with you for a loan. You are NOT made aware at any point that you are applying for a loan or that your information is basically not secured.
The "catch" is to get you to fill out even a small amount of information to "datamine" and use your Personal Identifiable information.
You technically DO Not get a Blackbook value for the car you are inquiring about, instead they get your information to do with at will, all because you read a mailer that said "Free" Black Book Offer. Be forewarned, Never give out your personal information to a website unless its secure and legitimate.
The Website has no contact info, so I had to gather this information from the Whois site. They use Godaddy to hide behind. So in this manner you are being ripped off by having your identity and personal information gathered without fullfilling the offer or asking YOUR permission to pull a credit report.
