One Ms Han (real name Ling Han) contacts you after posting a buying lead on any of these sites (hktdc.com, china. Cn or micdiscount.com). She claims to represent any of these companies - Hanshi International Group, Micdiscount or Kaidi company.
She gives you every reason to believe she is legit. E.G. Business registration number, telephone number, fax etc. No pressure to send money, forwards you a dhl waybill as proof your goods are ready for shipment.
Sent her $3000 US by bank transfer. Once she receives the money, the story changes. Now she needs $499 USD to clear customs and pay "consumption tax".
Total scam. She will not agree to refund money and becomes very angry at atimes. She confessed to spoofing legitimate sites like hktdc.com to receive leads. I conplained to hktdc.com, and they were able to delist her.
