I was looking for clothing online, when I searched Abercrombie outlet UK, this site came up http://www.abercrombiesonsale. Uk.com/
Not doing enough research on the website, I hesitantly agree to buy the product. I then received a email from [email protected] which was quiet strange as I have not received the goods yet but was given a email about how to complain.
I authorised payment from my Visa credit card for the amount of £97.97 but was charged £99.05 meaning that the goods had come from China, due to the conversation rate. I had blocked my credit card within 2 days of placing an order. I did some more extensive research to find out that they have been scamming people for quiet awhile now and that they have not been providing a return address, leaving them with the goods and the refund not being processable.
I was told that when using Visa credit card, Section 75 credit card protection would be applicable; following that I meet the requirements, i.E. Not receiving the goods or goods are faulty or damaged. Also it automatically covers you if you have bought anything from £100-£30,000
I am now waiting for my bank to process the claim as I not covered through Section 75 but from my bank which has a min. Spend of £50. I am hoping what my bank can do and see where that leaves me. I felt quiet stupid and untrustworthy of buying products online again.
I have installed this programme which allows you to check what websites are fraudulent/fake or genuine; Macafee site advisor.

Hope this helps anybody else.
