Affordable Relocations gave us a quote of $2332 for a move from Alberta to Ontario. After loading our goods on the truck, they then drove 3 hours to Calgary to weigh it, and of course, it was more than they had anticipated. Now the cost was going to be double.
When we said we couldn't pay that amount, they then offloaded it in Ontario, and have tripled the price. They will not deliver until we have paid them the full amount, which is now over $6500.
The president's name is Ron Bennet and his sales associate is Tammy Amyotte.
Do NOT, by any means, use this company for your move.
They are ripping people off.
