This company has called me every day for the last couple of weeks, first announcing that they are going to send me a Visa card and then, the next week, a Mastercard. I know for a fact my credit card application has been declined so I immediately smelled a rat! Plus, every person who called was rather too casual on the phone, (eg. There was muffled laughing in the background etc) so I knew something wasn't right - it didn't sound like a real business.
When they asked me for my bank details, I decided to tell them that I didn't have a bank account, just to see how they would react - and surprise - they hung up. The next time they called, they asked for my initial and my date of birth. I declined to give them any information and they hung up again. Though I would love a credit card, this just seemed all wrong. I'm so glad I found this website as it justified everything and made me feel like I wasn't going crazy!
I would like to bring this company down, and I would be willing to help anyone else to do it. Can we make this a more public issue, get a TV report made on it or something? Maybe someone has contacts with a radio station or tv network? This company prey on the poor and unfortunate. It is unnacceptable and inhumane. Let's get them closed down!!!
